Dr Mensa Otabil has some words for those trying to flee the country<\/p>\n

Pastor Mensa Otabil said Ghana, Nigeria and many countries in Africa would be empty. This would happen if the United States of America decides to give free visas for just a week.<\/p>\n

The founder of International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) said this during the church\u2019s 34th anniversary service.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, he stated that there are a number of Africans who risk their lives traversing deserts and the Mediterranean to Europe. Moreover, this is ample evidence that most Africans would leave the continent for greener pasture if they had the chance.<\/p>\n

Dr Mensa Otabil’s statement about seeking greener pastures<\/h4>\n

\u201cLook at the number of our people who try to cross the Sahara Desert to go to Europe.<\/em><\/p>\n

And believe you me, if that way were open, Africa would be empty. It would be empty. If the American Embassy today decides: this week is free visa for everybody, Ghana would be empty, Nigeria would be empty.<\/em><\/p>\n

Why are we travelling? It\u2019s not because we have a sense of adventure because if we had a sense of adventure, we would have travelled to Mole, we would\u2019ve gone to Kintampo, we have no sense of adventure, it\u2019s a sense of hopelessness. It\u2019s not an adventure, it\u2019s hopelessness. This is a sense where you feel nothing good will come from here\u201d.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
