Nigerian music superstar,\u00a0 Wizkid has revealed that he never signed legendary Ghanaian music duo, R2bees\u00a0 onto his world acclaimed record label, Starboy Entertainment.<\/p>\n
It has been highly speculated that the Ghanaian music superstars were signed onto the Starboy label.<\/p>\n
However, Wizkid,\u00a0who has been friends with the ‘Gboza’ hitmakers has clarified that notion saying there was nothing of that sort, as most people believe. According to the ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker, the Ghanaian music duo are his seniors in music. He stated that the affiliation was never contractual and was only borne out of friendship and his love for R2bees and Ghana. Adding that they are too big to be signed onto his record label.<\/p>\n
Wizkid, real name, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, made this revelation on a Nigerian radio station.<\/p>\n
“It’s a family thing. R2bees was never signed to Starboy. R2bees cannot be signed on Starboy. These are people who started music before I did.
