Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has debunked claims that his appointment is a political one.<\/p>\n

The Prophet was recently appointment by the ruling NPP government to serve in the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.<\/p>\n

However, Rev Owusu Bempah is known to always be on the side of\u00a0 NPP. Many even claim that he is the president’s ‘spiritual father’.<\/p>\n

As a result, was highly criticized by some Ghanaians as to whether he\u2019s a Politician or Pastor.<\/p>\n

But the Prophet, who is speaking for the first time since his appointment says it’s contrary to speculations.<\/p>\n

According to him, his appointment into the ministry has nothing to do with Politics.<\/p>\n

He spoke on Wednesday on Adom FM\u2019s Burning Issues program, hosted by Afia Pokua.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u201cMy appointment is not a political position or a thank-you appointment but rather an offer of assistance by the ministry to serve Ghanaians.<\/em><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
\n

\u201cI have received a letter from the Gender Ministry requesting my assistance to support the ministry in my capacity as a man of God.\u201d Reverend Owusu Bempah told Afia Pokua.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rev Owusu Bempah is the founder and General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International.<\/p>\n

He however indicated that\u00a0he has accepted the offer to serve on the Board.<\/p>\n
