<\/a><\/p>\nYoung Ghanaian actress Clara Benson, popularly known us Maame Serwaa has made it to one of the world’s biggest screens, BBC.<\/p>\n
The actress appeared on BBC documentary show on Wednesday,\u00a0April 11.<\/p>\n
Serwaa spoke about a variety of issues including her career and charity in Ghana.<\/p>\n
A crew from BBC UK paid a visit to the budding actress in her home in Accra.<\/p>\n
Maame Serwaa also spoke on the need for women, particularly in Africa, to be supported. As well as given women opportunities which would make the world \u201cbelieve in them more.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 18-year-old who began her acting career at a tender age recounted some of the challenges she came across while trying to make a mark for herself in the movie industry.<\/p>\n
She disclosed further that while that menace was and is still prevalent in the industry, she never agreed to \u201cgo down\u201d with any producer before being given a role.<\/p>\n
Serwaa explained that she knows her value and talent as an actress. Therefore, she allowed those attributes to speak for her rather than the roles.<\/p>\n
According to her, she is a very positive person. Therefore, she does not allow negativity and bad talk from people and the media to get to her.<\/p>\n
