Tamale based musician, Ahjmed Mujahid Bello, best known as Fancy Gadam claims he is the only artist in Ghana with a loyal fan base.<\/p>\n
Patapaa’s failure to win\u00a02018 VGMAs Most Popular Song of The Year has taken many Ghanaians by surprise.<\/p>\n
Many entertainment enthusiasts were heavily rallying behind Patapaa go home with that award last Saturday.<\/p>\n
Many believe that his ‘One Corner’ song really deserved to win, instead it went to Fancy Gadam’s ‘Total Cheat’ which features Sarkodie.<\/p>\n
Hence, Patapaa got pissed off and stormed out of the event’s grounds upon his defeat. He even purported that Chatterhouse took ‘Stupid Money’ from Fancy Gadam and left him off the hook.<\/p>\n
According to Fancy Gadam, his victory is because he has loyal fans who voted for him. He added that he is the only artiste in Ghana with a loyal fan base.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody deserves to win but it\u2019s about numbers, it\u2019s about votes and who has loyal fan base and the whole Ghana I\u2019m the only one who has a loyal fan base,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Fancy Gadam was speaking\u00a0 in an interview with SVTV CHAT host Abena Amankwah Afrifa.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Patapaa in an interview on Monday morning revealed that he was very disappointed the award went to Fancy Gadam. According to him, his disappointment was so grave that he couldn\u2019t feel his legs anymore.<\/p>\n
He stated that he had high hopes of winning in that category but unfortunately, Fancy Gadam cheated his way through.<\/p>\n
