I was very happy when my dictionary gave me the definition of kente as a ‘type of fabric made of interwoven cloth strips native to GHANA’<\/p>\n

The Kente cloth is something Ghanaians don’t joke with. It is made in an artistic way that being spotted in Kente means a lot.<\/p>\n

Yes, as mentioned earlier, the Kente cloth identifies a Ghanaian from a group of people.<\/p>\n

It is mainly worn during important events such as anniversaries, weddings, christening etc.<\/p>\n

Now, as the government continues to create awareness to encourage indigenes to patronize and use locally manufactured goods, it is only wise that we paid attention.<\/p>\n

After all, charity, they say begin at home. We going in for these products more than other foreign ones will help our products to be accepted and patronized by others.<\/p>\n

In that regard, some celebrities have been ‘slaying’ a lot in our fabrics these days, from the Ankara fabrics to Kente and then the smock.<\/p>\n

Ghaflagh.com has come across a few of such celebs. And as they put in efforts to put Ghana on the global map, we also need to recognize their efforts and apprentiate them.<\/p>\n
