The 2nd edition of the Ghana Makeup Awards came off on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel in Accra.<\/p>\n

The event, which was hosted by actress and producer Juliet Ibrahim was highly graced by top celebrities and Makeup artistes.<\/p>\n

Sandra Don Arthur with the\u00a0brand name Alexandrina Makeup was crowned the Makeup Artiste of the year. She also won the Best Editorial Makeup Artiste award as well.<\/p>\n

She beat her other contenders; Nancy Chinalurum Ogbonna (Nancyblaq), Sandra) and Marfoa Acheampong (touchmakeupartistry).<\/p>\n

Sandra’s keen eye and innate understanding of colour and technique have enabled her to work with some of the industry’s best. She was the head makeup artist on hit television series such as\u00a0@ Home With Joselyn Dumas,<\/em>\u00a0Jim Iyke Unscripted<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Dzigbordi Show.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sandra made her first big breakthrough when she was working on the set of\u00a0‘@ Home With\u2026’<\/em>\u00a0in London. When the Managing Director of\u00a0MNET Africa<\/em>, Biola Alabi, came on set as a guest.<\/p>\n

She has since worked with top celebrities such as Zynnel Zuh, Joselyn Dumas, Omotola Jalade, and a host of others.<\/p>\n
