E.L talks rap.<\/p>\n

Ghanaian artist, EL revealed that often he dumbs down his rap. Moreover, this is so it can get to a level that the average Ghanaian can understand it.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the rapper made these statements in a recent interview. He was of the view that often when he writes he realizes he has to dumb down some portions. This is to appeal to the masses.<\/p>\n

These seem like strange sentiments from a guy crowned Best Rapper of the Year at a point.<\/p>\n

E.L told Joy News\u2019 MzGee about his lyrics<\/h4>\n

\u201cI feel myself most of the time having to dumb it down and that\u2019s not a bad thing because you have to consider what you want to achieve in terms of making music and expressing yourself to a wider audience and you have to think about how the wider audience can understand.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

E.L said this is why sometimes his lyrics might not seem so deep. However, if he wanted he could go as deep as anyone else.<\/p>\n
