{"id":36074,"date":"2018-05-17T08:12:06","date_gmt":"2018-05-17T08:12:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.com\/gh\/?p=36074"},"modified":"2018-05-17T08:12:06","modified_gmt":"2018-05-17T08:12:06","slug":"36074-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/36074-2\/","title":{"rendered":"John Dumelo And Wife In Church For The First Time As Couple"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ghanaians witnessed what can be termed so far as the celebrity wedding of the year between actor, John Dumelo and his wife, Gifty Mawunya over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The colorful and plush\u00a0traditional marriage ceremony came off at Nkornu in Accra.<\/p>\n<p>The new couple, have since been the talk of the nation, making headlines here and there.<\/p>\n<p>Though not opened to the public, the ceremony was well attended by close friends and families of the couple.<\/p>\n<p>Some top celebrities from Nigeria and Ghana also flooded the Lashibi residence of\u00a0 Mawunya&#8217;s parents for the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/john-dumelo-and-wife.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-35971\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/john-dumelo-and-wife-300x199.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/john-dumelo-and-wife-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/john-dumelo-and-wife.png 601w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Former President, John Dramani Mahama, who happens to be a good friend of John Demelo was also there to grace the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Mawunya is the younger sister of actress Selassie Ibrahim and a bestie of actress Nadia Buari, who was also at the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s also a trained lawyer who usually base in the UK. Reports have it that she also has some connections to the NDC and former President, John Dramani Mahama.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/john-dumelo-wedding19-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-35191\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/john-dumelo-wedding19-1-243x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"243\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/john-dumelo-wedding19-1-243x300.png 243w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/john-dumelo-wedding19-1.png 410w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 243px) 100vw, 243px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, the couple after getting married last Saturday, were in church for the first time as couple.<\/p>\n<p>They visited the Dominion Chapel to thank God for seeing them through a successful marriage.<\/p>\n<p>With both clad in an all white outfit, the couple looked lovely and splendid.
