Ghanaian actress, Gifty Adrah talks about some of the challenges she faced pursuing acting. Furthermore, she talks about how she became the popular actress she is today.<\/p>\n

Moreover, according to her she had to choose between having sex with a producer or paying for a role. Also, she explained that these \u2018money na hand, the role assigned\u2019 movie producers weren\u2019t paying her. This was even after the movie comes out. Furthermore, they claimed she was an underground actress.<\/p>\n

The actress made these statements in an interview with NEWS-ONE.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe journey has not been easy. You know nothing good comes easily. I sometimes go for auditions and you will have to pay them before you get a role and sometimes you will be asked to sleep with them, which never happened.<\/em><\/p>\n

But so far, I can say the journey has been great, it has challenged me in so many ways.<\/em><\/p>\n

From the beginning, it wasn\u2019t financially rewarding because I had to be paying for someone to cast me but as it is now I don\u2019t need to pay but rather I get paid for it.<\/em><\/p>\n

But when we talk about the passion the money matters don\u2019t really count because my talent will pave way for me and I\u2019m happy I get to eat from my talent.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
