The 2018 edition of the annual musical event dubbed \u2018Westside Salahfest 2018\u2019 is scheduled to come off on June 18.<\/p>\n
This would however be the second edition of the event since its inception.<\/p>\n
Venue for the event is Takoradi at the Market Circle in the Western Region.<\/p>\n
The event was highly lauded last year for\u00a0bringing together thousands of people of the Islamic faith across the Muslim communities in Takoradi and its environs on one platform.<\/p>\n
Sponsoring the event is Sleeky Promotions in partnership with MTN Ghana.<\/p>\n
Artistes on the bill for night include; Pappy Kojo, Nero X, Nhyiraba Kojo and a host others.<\/p>\n
The Western Regional Marketing Manager of MTN Ghana, Ike Jonfiah, said this is first time his outfit is sponsoring the Salahfest in the Western Region.\u00a0 The company is although known to be the main sponsor of the event in Accra and Kumasi.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe are hoping Westside Salahfest becomes explosive as we look forward to maintaining our partnership with Sleeky Promotions to mark it as an annual event here in Tarkoradi,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n
CEO of Sleeky Promotions, Sadick Assah, on the other hand is urging all music lovers to attend the event.<\/p>\n
The event, according to him which will witness a colourful display of motor riding, cycling and other activities.<\/p>\n
