He disappointed most of his fans who paid to watch him perform.<\/p>\n<p>This news is indeed strange. This is because there were reports that he touched down in Dubai on Wednesday morning. He\u00a0attended the pre-event party hours after his arrival at the city known for their lively nightlife scene.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/11\/sarkodie-during-soundcheck.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3840\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/11\/sarkodie-during-soundcheck.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"597\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/11\/sarkodie-during-soundcheck.png 499w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/11\/sarkodie-during-soundcheck-251x300.png 251w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Sarkodie during Soundcheck in Dubai<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sarkodie hours before the main event went for soundcheck and arrived on time at the venue for the main show but never performed.<\/p>\n<p>According to Eugene Osafo Nkansah of peacefmonline.com who was at the, \u201c<em>during the concert, host of the show Banky W announced Sarkodie as the next act on stage after Nigeria\u2019s Teckno performance and Sarkodie\u2019s DJ, DJ Mensah mounted the stage but Banky W came back to announce Davido\u2019s name after someone whipped to him on stage that Davido was next. <\/em><br \/>\n<em>The show started at about 9:30 pm and ended at about 2:45 am and all the artistes numbering about 20 from different African countries(Kenya, Angola, South Africa, Ethiopia, Tanzanian, Nigeria etc) performed with the exception of Ghana\u2019s Sarkodie.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>We Need Answers<\/h4>\n<p>Furthermore, Sarkodie announced during the show on twitter that he is not performing. He apologised to all his fans for disappointing them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Sorry to fans in Dubai but I\u2019m not performing, hopefully I make it next time.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As at now, there are no concrete reason as to why Sarkodie failed to perform. Neither the organisers of the show nor Sarkodie&#8217;s management have made any official statement about the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Superstars from the continent who performed at the One African concert included 2face Idibia, Wizkid, Davido, Tecko, Diamond, Victoria Kimani, Cassper Nyovest, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, Emma Nyra and many others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sarkodie we need explanations.
