But for those who are there, being famous is a herculean task.<\/p>\n<p>KiDi of &#8216;Odo&#8217; fame, surely says so as well. He has joined a host of personalities and celebrities who have said fame is not an easy thing.<\/p>\n<p>You suffer to get it and whiles in it too, it&#8217;s all pressure form every angle. Of course, as our old folks say, a child belongs to the mother only in the stomach, once born, the society owns him\/her.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s also the fact that, once famous,\u00a0you have to deal with the invasion of privacy and scrutiny from people.<\/p>\n<p>Not forgotten that the media also has its eagle eyes on each of your movements and will not hesitate to make you their headline with the least missed step.<\/p>\n<p>The Lynx Entertainment artiste, in a chat with Showbiz on Tuesday revealed that being famous has been tough for him.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/06\/9be712c7c32d6370df82cf999efacb7d.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-39422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/06\/9be712c7c32d6370df82cf999efacb7d-241x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"241\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/06\/9be712c7c32d6370df82cf999efacb7d-241x300.jpg 241w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/06\/9be712c7c32d6370df82cf999efacb7d-768x957.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/06\/9be712c7c32d6370df82cf999efacb7d-822x1024.jpg 822w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/06\/9be712c7c32d6370df82cf999efacb7d.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 241px) 100vw, 241px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s been tough, it is not a walk in the park, everybody wants you to give them attention.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It\u2019s a lot of pressure, everybody demands the right amount of attention,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That notwithstanding, KiDi, said he is very grateful to his fans for being there for him.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWithout them there is no me, I am very very grateful to them for everything they do for me, listening to my songs and watching my videos, I am really grateful to them,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He was asked what the magic was that did the trick for him after he emerged winner of music reality show, MTN Hitmakers.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cAfter Hitmaker I was still in school, I had to finish school and once I was done with it, everything started to fall in place and here we are,\u201d <\/em>he recalled.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/kidi-nana-appiah-mensah-zylofon-media.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-34491\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/kidi-nana-appiah-mensah-zylofon-media-242x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"242\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/kidi-nana-appiah-mensah-zylofon-media-242x300.jpg 242w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/kidi-nana-appiah-mensah-zylofon-media-768x951.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2018\/05\/kidi-nana-appiah-mensah-zylofon-media.jpg 827w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 242px) 100vw, 242px\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He also disagreed with the perception of many that, the spotlight seems to be on his label mate, Kumi Eugene. Meanwhile, they are three artistes on the Lynx Entertainment record label; Kidi, Kuami Eugene and MzVee.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>According to him,<em>\u201cThere is nothing like one person getting attention, everybody has their plan and the team has time for everybody.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He also hinted of his yet-to-be-released song, which he described as &#8216;deadly&#8217;.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cMy next song is deadly, I am very excited about it and I can\u2019t wait. I also have a lot of collaborations coming up so my fans should watch out for them,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>About KiDi<\/h3>\n<p>KiDi, born Dennis Nana Dwamena is a fast rising hiplife artiste in Ghana. He rose to fame when he won the popular TV show, MTN Hitmakers season IV in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>He has since thrilled Ghanaians with sweet melodious hit songs including Odo, Say You Love Me, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-year-old recently released another hit single dubbed &#8216;Adiepena&#8217; which is already doing well on the music scene.<\/p>\n<p>KiDi won the Highlife Song of the Year at this year\u2019s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.<\/p>\n<p>He loves painting aside singing and is currently single.<\/p>\n<p>He is an old student of Accra Academy and an alum of the University of Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>He looks up to people like Justin Timberlake, Kojo Antwi, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars and Usher.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For some who are not there, they will do anything to become famous.
