The 2017 People’s Celebrity Awards(PCA) was launched yesterday November 21, 2017 .<\/p>\n
Nominees for this year’s awards were unveiled yesterday at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra by the board and organizers of the event.<\/p>\n
The event which is headlined by GN Bank Mobile Money and spearheaded by SpyderLee Entertainment saw a gathering of celebrities across the entertainment fields and media personnel from across the country.<\/p>\n
Speaking to participants at the unveiling ceremony, Eyram Bashan, a member of the board of directors for the People\u2019s Celebrity Awards said the scheme over the years has celebrated and recognized Ghanaian personalities whose daily endeavors have contributed tremendously to the growth of the nation\u2019s entertainment industry.<\/p>\n
Adding that, the awards scheme has achieved its purpose of creating an excellent avenue for investment in the creative arts industry, increase visibility and most importantly pamper stars who help reduce the general stress levels of Ghanaians.<\/p>\n
This award seeks to award and celebrate individuals and organizations which have contributed as well as those that continue to excel in their respective fields towards the development of the Ghanaian Arts and Entertainment Industry.<\/p>\n
