Dancehall act, Stonebowy has revealed that he was considered for\u00a0Forbes\u2019 list for 30 young game changers in Africa.<\/p>\n
According to the ‘Bawasaba’ hitmaker, somebody from Forbes Africa asked him to send his particulars for the project.<\/p>\n
He however added that he did not hear from the person again, even after he had sent his particulars.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe got message and everything, we got selected but I did not hear from them again.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0He told Jessica Opare-Saforo on Citi FM\u2019s \u2018Traffic Avenue\u2019.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n
A message sent to his phone from Forbes Africa official shows that his name was indeed recommended and was considered for the list.<\/p>\n
The list for 2018 Forbes Africa 30 under 30 was released few days ago.<\/p>\n
However, rapper Sarkodie was the only Ghanaian that made it on the list.<\/p>\n
The list was compiled across different industries including music, art, media, film and fashion.<\/p>\n
Nigeria, had nine showbiz personalities in the list: Wizkid, Davido, Yemi Alade, Falz and others.<\/p>\n
The 2018 FORBES AFRICA Under 30 is a list of Africa\u2019s most promising young change-makers.<\/p>\n
The 30 people are game-changers, all under the age of 30, in each the three sectors \u2013 business, technology and creative arts.<\/p>\n
According to Forbes Africa: \u201cwe put in months of rigorous research, sifting through over 600 nominations. Vetting them for weeks, verifying and investigating them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy will be performing at the 2018 Ghana Meets Naija concert. This event will come off on Saturday, 9th June, 2018 at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.<\/p>\n
