Nigerian superstar, Wizkid was in Ghana over the weekend for the 2018 edition of Ghana Meets Naija. However, to the surprise of many patrons, he invited Shatta Wale on stage during the his performance.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, last year, Shatta stated that the Nigerian Starboy is overrated. Therefore, he does not deserve a superstar status.<\/p>\n
Moreover, the issue stoked controversy between the two countries. Also, people wondered why Shatta Wale would make such a statement.<\/p>\n
Through all this, the Starboy was silent on the matter. However, he gave Shatta Wale shout out during the launch of the 8th edition of Ghana Meets Naija.<\/p>\n
Midway through his performance, Wizkid paused and invited Shatta Wale on to the stage. However, Shatta was not billed to perform on the night.<\/p>\n
Shocked by the act, the audience screamed, stood on their chairs, pulled out their phones to capture the moment.<\/p>\n
The two artistes exchanged pleasantries after which Wale performed his hit song ‘Gringo’ and exited the stage for the ‘Starboy’ to continue with his performance.<\/p>\n
