Carbon Av and Exclusive Men\u2019s Magazine, have announced the nominees for this year’s Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Africa Awards<\/p>\n
The announcement was made at a beautiful, well-organised and short ceremony in Accra.<\/p>\n
Joy Sports Editor, Nathaniel Attoh was the host of the event which took place\u00a0on Thursday, July 26, 2018.<\/p>\n
EMY Africa Awards is aims at celebrating exceptional and distinguished men in Africa who have excelled in their fields of endeavor.<\/p>\n
This year’s will however be it’s 3rd edition following two successful events earlier.<\/p>\n
Kuami Eugene, boxer Isaac Dogbe, King Promise, Kobby Blay and Alloysius Attah in Discovery of the Year Category.<\/p>\n
Nathaniel Attoh, Okyeame Kwame, Stephen Appiah, Harold Amenyah and Jake Obeng-Bediako in the Man of the Year Style category.<\/p>\n
Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, Kumawood actor Akrobeto, Comedian DKB, Playwright Latif Abubakar and movie producer Abdul Salam are also inclusive. They are contesting for the\u00a0Men in Entertainment category.<\/p>\n
Moreover, this year\u2019s event is expected to honor distinguished men and women in Ghana and across the continent. These are people who have rolled out landmarks in the development and progress of families, societies and the African region at large. This year’s edition comes with a tall list of 24 categories.<\/p>\n
In default, voting has opened effective, July 26 to August 15.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, gracing the unveiling ceremony were some popular personalities.<\/p>\n
They include; Joselyn Dumas, Selly Gally, Salma Mumin, KOD, Nana Adwoa Awindor, Big J Carte, among others.<\/p>\n
