Prolific actress, Nana Ama Mcbrown has revealed that her first ‘big’ pay cheque as an actress was invalid.<\/p>\n

According to her, the cheque turned out to be a deceptive tactic by a movie producer.<\/p>\n

She recounted how a movie producer handed her a GHC 5oo cheque in a movie she landed in in 2007. Although he knew very well he didn’t have that enough money in the account.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe day I received the cheque, I was jittery for the stated day to go clear it. It finally came and I dressed up early for an Adum bank and presented it at the counter and was asked to wait.<\/p>\n

The waiting period raised my suspicion and later, I was told to send back the cheque to the issuer because he had no funds in the account. I did and it would shock you he took it and gave me GH\u00a270\u201d, she narrated.<\/p>\n

She however added that though this short lived her happiness and frustrated her, it did not deter her from pursuing the career she had chosen after quitting professional football.<\/p>\n
