Is believed that as a gospel musician, one must live a life in accordance with the Bible.<\/p>\n

However, most often we tend to hear different stories far from what is expected<\/p>\n

of most of these artistes in Ghana.<\/p>\n

There seems to be no difference between a gospel artiste and a secular musician<\/p>\n

in Ghana these days.<\/p>\n

This is evident in their extravagant lifestyle portrayed on various social media platforms by these gospel musicians.<\/p>\n

Not to say that a gospel musician should live a rich lifestyle, however, there is a<\/p>\n

limit to this as expected by society and their fans.<\/p>\n

One such relevant gospel musicians in the country believes that most of her<\/p>\n

colleagues live a fake lifestyle.<\/p>\n

According to Mary Agyemang,\u00a0most of the Ghanaian gospel singers rent cars<\/p>\n

in order to portray an extravagant lifestyle on social media.<\/p>\n

She further believes that these musicians are influenced by other lifestyles on<\/p>\n

the social media platforms.<\/p>\n

Therefore, they tend to live a fake life in order to please their fans and relatives.<\/p>\n

Mary, who is signed on Frimprince Music Productions, also noted that such<\/p>\n

lavish lifestyle of those so-called musicians makes her wonder who<\/p>\n

they\u2019re actually deceiving.<\/p>\n

This she added is because when she sees pictures of them in their rented cars<\/p>\n

on social media, it makes her giggle.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Change Over\u2019 hitmaker told Dave Hamma on Hello FM in Kumasi that,<\/p>\n

those in the gospel industry are the ones who rent cars a lot because of social media likes .<\/p>\n

Hence making other personalities and relatives to believe that they are wealthy whiles it is not true.<\/p>\n

“When we\u2019re talking of people who rent cars a lot in this country, I know some gospel musicians are heavily involved in it. After renting the cars, you will see them taking pictures and posting them on social media making people believe it is theirs.<\/em><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, I also know that particular car the musician was using to take pictures doesn\u2019t belong to them, “<\/em> she said on Saturday entertainment show.<\/h3>\n

\u201cEven the small cars in town, they don\u2019t own some but a relative would see their lifestyle and be jealous and at the end of the day take them to somewhere.<\/em><\/p>\n

So if you don\u2019t have don\u2019t force it for any of your family members to see it and plot against you. If you don\u2019t have it do not force to live a certain lifestyle because it will affect you in future.<\/em><\/p>\n

What happens if you fall sick and people are soliciting for money to help? People might not support because they might say you were living a lavish life when you had money all because of the car you rented to flex. \u201d<\/em> she added<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mary Agyemang, however, admitted that few of the musicians genuinely own<\/p>\n
