Veteran actor, Abeiku Sagoe talks about the Ghana Actors Guild.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, according to him,the president of the guild, Sammy Fiscian sidelined the Vice President of the Guild, Van Vicker.<\/p>\n
He made these statements in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.<\/p>\n
Moreover, he alleged that Van Vicker and some others have been marginalised. Therefore, they are not part of decision making of the Guild.<\/p>\n
Also, he states that the Guild is currently being run by Sammy Fiscian, Oscar Provencal and Ken Fiati.<\/p>\n
After the elections in 2017, Sammy Fiscian claimed that Van Vicker does not support him with the running of the affairs of the actors\u2019 body.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey have sidelined him. It\u2019s not Van Vicker [who is] not working, he has been sidelined. Now the Ghana Actors Guild is run by Fiscian, Oscar and Ken Fiati. All the others including Van Vicker have been marginalized. If he did not want to work he wouldn\u2019t have contested in the elections\u2026,\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Moreover, he stated that he is not interested in contesting for the presidency of the Actors\u2019 Guild. However, he is more than ready to support Van Vicker should he decide to run.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf Van Vicker wants to run for Actors Guild President, he has my support and blessing and I will ensure that he wins\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
