Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale says Ghana is becoming \u201cvery hot\u201d under the current NNP government.<\/p>\n

According to the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker, many Ghanaians\u00a0 suffering every single day due to\u00a0the collapse of businesses and loss of jobs under the\u00a0presidency of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.<\/p>\n

The dancehall icon further stated that the economic hardship is putting a lot of stress on<\/p>\n

Ghanaians to the extent that they are gradually overlooking the excitement in the music<\/p>\n

industry as most of his fans are not aware of the many songs he has released recently.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis time I\u2019m even releasing more songs but people are not even aware. I\u2019m just trying to make people take their minds off certain things. I\u2019m trying to put controversial stuff in the industry for Ghana to be interesting but the country is becoming hotter and hotter each and every day,\u201d<\/em> he said in an interview on Luv 99.5 FM.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He also observed how the hardship is forcing many of the youth to venture into risky means of making a living including armed robbery and fraud.<\/p>\n

The SM Boss is, therefore, appealing to President to fix the economic challenges and alleviate the suffering of citizens.<\/p>\n

\u201cI beg the president to do something. Ghanaians are suffering too much. I just want to say this on air for him to know that I also care about the country. The way he wants Ghana to move is the same way I also want Ghana to move but people are complaining too much. Like there\u2019s no money, businesses are collapsing\u2026 the country is becoming hotter and hotter. You see that thing, it should’t happen in Ghana. Each and everyday i’m hearing people say charley, there’s no money\u201d, <\/em>he added.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Asked if he is feeling the heat too, the ‘Gringo’ crooner answered in the affirmative.<\/p>\n

“I feel it too, sometimes.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
