The 2018 edition of the annual International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA) came to a successful end over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The awards show however took place at the Hilton Hotel London Canary Wharf on Saturday<\/p>\n

September 22, 2018.<\/p>\n

It was a star studded event which saw some International actors as well as Ghanaian actors<\/p>\n

walk out proudly holding their award plaques.<\/p>\n

Some Ghanaian personalities such as, Zynnell Zuh, Joselyn Dumas and Medikal emerged<\/p>\n

as some of the top winners of the night.<\/p>\n

Zynnell, who recently took home the Glitz Style Awards Movie Personality of the year award<\/p>\n

won for Best Young Actor, for her performance in the 2017 psychological trailer movie Deranged.<\/p>\n

Also reigning Glitz Style Awards Best Dressed Celebrity on the Red Carpet,<\/p>\n

Joselyn Dumas also won the Best Actress award for the night with the comedy movie Potato Potahto.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, AMG record artiste, Medikal on the music font won for Ghana as he grabbed<\/p>\n

the title for the Best African Music Artiste of the Year Award.<\/p>\n

Man\u2019s Not Hot hit maker Michael Dapaah aka Big Shaq, Vijay Joseph were also among winners for the night.<\/p>\n

The event which was hosted by Steve King and Gail Porter awarded 24 personalities in the<\/p>\n

showbiz industry, comprising movies, fashion, music and lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Christoulla Boodram, Kacey Ainsworth, Emma Taylor, Suzan McLean, received<\/p>\n

the Phenomenal Woman honorary awards for the night in recognition of their ability to use their individual<\/p>\n

platforms to enhance lives and cause change.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2014, IARA is aimed at celebrating artists across the Art and Entertainment<\/p>\n

industry; for Excellence, Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, and Innovations.<\/p>\n

The awards confers, highlight outstanding talents, laudable initiatives and recognizes<\/p>\n

the hard work of those in Theatre, Music, Film\/TV and the Fashion industry.<\/p>\n
