Ghanaian rapper, Young rapper, Awal Mohammed has assured his fans that he will take home the MTN Hitmaker crown for this year.<\/p>\n
Awal gained fame when he competed in the 2010 edition of\u00a0TV3\u2019s Talented Kids and emerged second runner up.<\/p>\n
Many have questioned his decision to re-enter another reality competition.<\/p>\n
But the budding rapper has disclosed that this is a bigger opportunity to put his brand out there.<\/p>\n
\u201cI pulled through Talented Kids and I will also win this year\u2019s MTN Hitmaker. My brand needs to resurface\u201d,<\/em> he said\u00a0in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1FM\u2019s Showbiz Agenda<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
He further stated that he loves to be challenged, hence this initiative to push his brand out of its comfort zone.<\/p>\n
Awal pointed out that though he received support from several people, it has not been enough to push his craft into the mainstream.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am not entering the competition because I do not have support for my career. I did get support but it did not get me there\u201d,<\/em> he stated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
