Ghanaian music producer, Sede3 has bemoaned how little he has to show for after working as a producer for so many years.<\/p>\n

Sede3 is known for producing great acts such as Kwabena Kwabena, Ofori Amponsah, Tinny,<\/p>\n

KK Fosu and even Nigeria\u2019s 2Face.<\/p>\n

That notwithstanding, Sede3, also known as Sidi, in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak<\/p>\n

‘Hitz on Hitz FM said he hasn\u2019t been paid for more of the hit songs he has produced.<\/p>\n

\u201cActually it wasn\u2019t supposed to be for free but I was thinking that they would come back and say okay \u2018Kwame this is what you have done for me and this is what I\u2019m supposed to pay you for\u2019 but nobody came back to ,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he lamented.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sede3 explained that, when one starts off as a producer, they are excited about what they do and<\/p>\n

therefore want people to see their work without looking at the business aspect of it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you start growing up you notice those are the mistakes that you did,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Asked if he goes into an agreement with the musicians, Sede3 explained that he goes into a<\/p>\n

two-way agreement with them that either they pay him outright or when the song becomes successful, they then pay him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of these people will agree\u2026trust me when you get the things done, they have hits out of them, they don\u2019t even mention your name. <\/em><\/h3>\n

At least if you don\u2019t make money, you even expect to get your name out there which could produce you money but these people don\u2019t even mention your name,\u201d<\/em> he bemoaned.<\/p>\n

He was however quick to add that, \u201cif I [have] a vocal contract with you, it doesn\u2019t mean I don\u2019t have a contract with you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the beginning, we produce for people like this expecting them to at least comeback and say [thank you],\u201d<\/em> he stressed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He however noted that he believes he needs a music lawyer to handle these issues for him.<\/p>\n

Known for co-producing 2Face\u2019s smash hit \u2018See Me So\u2019, Sede3 explained that he \u201cdidn\u2019t have<\/p>\n
