Bhim Nation Frontliner, Stonebwoy has revealed his rationale for going for Shatta Wale’s<\/p>\n

‘Reign’ album launch concert which ended up with him being rejected from entering the event’s ground.<\/p>\n

According to him, he was at the concert with the sole aim of fostering peace and unity in the music industry.<\/p>\n

The dancehall act explained that contrary to perceptions that he went to the Fantasy Dome at<\/p>\n

the Trade Fair Centre on Saturday night to steal Shatta Wale\u2019s shine, his gesture was for peace.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he [Shatta Wale] came on the \u2018Ashaiman to Da World\u2019 platform, the news read that we\u2019ve made peace. It\u2019s a move that will definitely signify peace regardless so nobody would have gone there to make war.\u201d<\/em> Stonebwoy told Andy Dosty in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Stonebowy and Samini have complained that they were denied access to Shatta’s concert shortly after the album launch.<\/p>\n

According to Samini, they were there to support a brother who had always been<\/p>\n

preaching ‘Support your own’. Unfortunately however, they were not given access<\/p>\n

to enter the event’s ground.<\/p>\n

Shatta Wale in a tweet apologized to the two for being denied access with the excuse<\/p>\n

that he had no knowledge they would be there.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Stonebwoy has called Shatta Wale a liar for claiming that he didn\u2019t know he<\/p>\n

and Samini had come to his \u2018Reign\u2019 album launch to perform.<\/p>\n

Shatta Wale, in a tweet, apologized to rival artistes, Samini and Stonebwoy, for their inability to perform at his concert.<\/p>\n

Stonebwoy, speaking on Daybreak Hitz was quick to cut Shatta Wale some slack.<\/p>\n

He said doesn\u2019t believe Shatta Wale tweeted the apology \u201cbecause he got the \u2018Reign\u2019 spelling wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the \u2018My Name\u2019 singer, if Shatta Wale\u2019s response hadn\u2019t gone that way, he<\/p>\n

wouldn\u2019t have responded because, according to Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale had<\/p>\n

announced that some people were at the venue to perform.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe point I want to prove is that we tried. We made a bold move. Let nobody ever think that it was a negative premeditation to get in there and steal the show but to just show Ghanaians that I have always been and I\u2019m always ready to sacrifice [for peace],\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have also allowed him [Shatta Wale] on our platforms,\u201d<\/em> Stonebwoy added.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It will be recalled that Shatta Wale made a surprise appearance at Samini\u2019s Saminifest concert<\/p>\n

at the Trade Fair Centre on Saturday, December 3, 2016.<\/p>\n

He did same on Saturday, September 30, 2017, when he surprised Stonebwoy at his \u2018Ashaiman<\/p>\n
