{"id":55086,"date":"2018-10-22T09:20:51","date_gmt":"2018-10-22T09:20:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.com\/gh\/?p=55086"},"modified":"2018-10-21T15:07:13","modified_gmt":"2018-10-21T15:07:13","slug":"i-invested-in-menzgold-kumi-guitar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/i-invested-in-menzgold-kumi-guitar\/","title":{"rendered":"I Invested At Menzgold \u2013 Kumi Guitar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Highlife musician, Kumi Guitar has revealed he is a client of gold dealership company,<\/p>\n<p>Menzgold Ghana Limited.<\/p>\n<p>Menzgold is a sister company of Zylofon Music, a record label Kumi is signed onto.<\/p>\n<p>The Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) ordered the company to halt its<\/p>\n<p>operations about two months ago.<\/p>\n<p>According to SEC, the company did not have the requisite license to deal in the purchase<\/p>\n<p>and deposit of gold collectibles from the public and issue contracts with guaranteed<\/p>\n<p>returns with clients.<\/p>\n<p>The investments of the customers have since been locked up following the suspension<\/p>\n<p>of the company\u2019s gold vault market services since Thursday, September 13, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the artistes signed onto Zylofon music have since come out to urge clients of<\/p>\n<p>the Gold firm not to worry about their investments because they are still intact.<\/p>\n<p>Kumi Guitar speaking on the issue said, just like the over a million frustrated clients<\/p>\n<p>of the company whose funds are locked up, he wished the company commenced<\/p>\n<p>its operations so all clients could get their dividends from investing in the company.<\/p>\n<p>Kumi Guitar made this known during an interview\u00a0with Agyemang Prempeh, host<\/p>\n<p>of Power Entertainment on Power 97.9 FM on Saturday,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3><em>\u201cI have invested there\u2026I wish this storm is over so the business continues,\u201d\u00a0 he admitted.<\/em><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Nonetheless, the &#8216;Betweener&#8217; hitmaker would not disclose the amount he invested in his boss\u2019 company.<\/p>\n<p>Kumi Guitar has over the years endeared himself to Ghanaians both home and in the<\/p>\n<p>diaspora with his creativity that comes to play in his songs.<\/p>\n<p>Read:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/jospong-group-companies-take-metro-tv\/\">https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/jospong-group-companies-take-metro-tv\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Nana Yaw Kumi is his name outside showbiz and is\u00a0the composer of the popular<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Break into two\u2019 track.<\/p>\n<p>He is also credited with other songs like \u2018Kokonsa\u2019, \u2018Brown Sugar\u2019, \u2018Problems\u2019, and<\/p>\n<p>\u2018victims\u2019 which he dedicated to the victims of the Atomic gas explosion in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Kumi Guitar is expected to release his debut album in December this year which has<\/p>\n<p>a song he did with his label mate and dancehall act, Shatta Wale.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Highlife musician, Kumi Guitar has revealed he is a client of gold dealership company, Menzgold Ghana Limited.
