Ghanaian Afrobeat songstress,\u00a0Queen Haizel has affirmed her love for nudity and will not<\/p>\n

trade anything for it.<\/p>\n

Queen Haizel, born\u00a0Mercedes Haizel Cobbinah claims to be a musician but it seems she<\/p>\n

is always in the news for s*x-related reasons.<\/p>\n

Touching on this issue however, the songstress says\u00a0many people who openly criticize her “purposeful nudity” often tend to admire her privately.<\/p>\n

The Afrobeat music star with large following from her home-city, Cape Coast explained<\/p>\n

that “going nude was her arsenal which formed part of her strategy for putting her<\/p>\n

heartfelt messages to her followers across the world.<\/p>\n

“I don’t just go nude because others are doing it, but for a purpose. The last one that gained much public outcry was to immortalize my Mother who died mysteriously during the gas explosion in Accra,”<\/em> she revealed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The 27 year old \u201ctooli\u201d songstress who interacted with the media in Cape Coast as part of<\/p>\n

moves to promote her new songs said, she was not perturbed by the vile propaganda,<\/p>\n

insinuation and aspersions against her.<\/p>\n

“Am not disturbed at all because I know with time people would learn to understand me. It’s show business. I am capable of doing many things but our culture, tradition and happenings in the industry has restricted me.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“This is nothing new and am not the one reinventing the wheel of nudity in Ghana. Traditionally, some women go nude to curse others. Through that, they achieve their aims,”<\/em> she added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She however described herself as Ghana’s finest female icon with unique matchless voice<\/p>\n

and proud to be a plus size with unique style.<\/p>\n

She further projected herself as a queen in everything she does and ready to introduce<\/p>\n

something different to Ghanaians who were stuck on same genres for decades.<\/p>\n

On the intense competition in the music industry among female artistes, she said;<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m in no competition with any of my fellow ladies”, she revealed.<\/h3>\n

According to her, she respects every musician. She further advised that her female colleagues<\/p>\n

should not be threatened by her works but support each other and work in unison to move<\/p>\n

the industry to its highest peak.<\/p>\n
