Moreover, she disclosed that the government has an amount of $ 4.5 million to support the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA). The awards further happened in the country from the 21st of November \u2013 24th November, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>She made these statements on Hitz FM. Mrs. Afeku said that Ghana hosting the 5th AFRIMA is an opportunity to boost tourism and creative arts. Also, she revealed that Ghana will be hosting for 3 years.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cGovernment is supporting the event with $4.5 million for the three years but for this year, we are spending $ 700,000\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to her, the governments promise to invest in Tourism and the Creative Arts has seen it funding festivals like the ChaleWote festival.
