The 2018 edition of the Central Music Awards (CMA) will take place on Wednesday, December 26 (Boxing Day).<\/p>\n

The event according to organizers will come off at the Centre for National Culture (CNC) in Cape Coast.<\/p>\n

Heritage Entertainment are the organizers of this event with sponsorship from some<\/p>\n

of the industry stakeholders.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event will be even bigger and better, and it is expected to attract a large number<\/p>\n

of music fans, stakeholders, artistes and their managers.<\/p>\n

A number of performing artistes who hail from the region are on the bill to perform<\/p>\n

at the event alongside some of the nominees and guest artiste.<\/p>\n

The red carpet and cocktail event, as reported by BEATWAVES, will be hosted by one of<\/p>\n

Ghana\u2019s celebrities.<\/p>\n

In an interview, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Heritage Entertainment, Mani Kay,<\/p>\n

said this year\u2019s event promises to be more competitive than the previous one.<\/p>\n

Since its establishment seven years ago, the awards scheme has grown to be the most<\/p>\n

anticipated awards scheme on the entertainment calendar in the Central Region.<\/p>\n

According to him, a lot of packages have been put in place to make this year\u2019s event a memorable one.<\/p>\n

Mani Kay added that CMA is being organised to reward artistes, music stakeholders and<\/p>\n

other personalities in the region who have contributed immensely towards the music industry<\/p>\n

in the region and in Ghana.<\/p>\n
