{"id":59004,"date":"2019-01-17T08:45:38","date_gmt":"2019-01-17T08:45:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.com\/gh\/?p=59004"},"modified":"2019-01-16T19:24:15","modified_gmt":"2019-01-16T19:24:15","slug":"i-dont-have-any-problem-with-young-artistes-who-sample-my-songs-kojo-antwi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/i-dont-have-any-problem-with-young-artistes-who-sample-my-songs-kojo-antwi\/","title":{"rendered":"I Don&#8217;t Have Any Problem With Young Artistes Who Sample My Songs &#8211; Kojo Antwi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ace Ghanaian music icon, Kojo Antwi says\u00a0he has absolutely no problem with new Ghanaian<\/p>\n<p>artists sampling his songs.<\/p>\n<p>According to the music legend, even though some of the artists grew up with his songs,<\/p>\n<p>they have now seen the efforts and hard work that went into producing those songs.<\/p>\n<p>Kojo Antwi was speaking in an interview with\u00a0Joy News\u2019 Becky.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe young ones are seeing the kind of work that was put into some of those songs and they appreciate it,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Nicknamed \u201cMr Music Man\u201d, Kojo Antwi is a celebrated musician musician who has<\/p>\n<p>chalked lots of success in his musical career spanning over two decades.<\/p>\n<p>CHECK:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/ill-never-attend-kojo-antwis-concerts-kofi-kapito\/\">https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/ill-never-attend-kojo-antwis-concerts-kofi-kapito\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, his music has not been successfully categorized because he has a blend of<\/p>\n<p>Highlife, Reggae, Soul, RnB and Carribean lovers rock.<\/p>\n<p>His diversity in music has hence contributed in many artists sampling his music.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;Dadie Anoma&#8217; hitmaker jokingly added<em> \u201csome of them they were made with my <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>song in the background.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Music Maestro further stated it is fulfilling for him to see artists recognizing his songs. <em>\u201c<\/em><em>I like it,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kojo Antwi also noted that\u00a0some people complain to him about other artists using his<\/p>\n<p>songs \u201cbut I say let them be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joey B, Kuami Eugene and Kidi are some of the artists who have sampled or taken<\/p>\n<p>inspiration from Kojo Antwi\u2019s songs.<\/p>\n<h3>Watch his full interview from below:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"I&#039;m not bothered by the young ones using my songs&#039; - Kojo Antwi.
