Controversial Musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus\u00a0has asserted that musicians in Ghana are enjoying in today because of Dancehall act, Shatta Wale\u2019s fight for the Ghanaian musician over the years.<\/p>\n

Making his points known through a Facebook post, A Plus argued that Shatta Wale fought for the industry by certain demands like asking that Nigerian musicians should not be paid better than Ghanaian musicians and also not to use the image of an artiste to promote a show when there\u2019s no prior contract.<\/p>\n

He wrote on his Facebook wall:<\/h3>\n

Every musician in Ghana today is enjoying the fruit of Shatta Wale\u2019s struggle. He fought for respect for the Ghanaian musician.<\/p>\n

1. Don\u2019t bring Nigerians here and treat them special but treat your own people like trash.<\/p>\n

2. Don\u2019t pay Nigerians better than Ghanaians.<\/p>\n

3. Don\u2019t just use musicians to promote your event when you have not contacted and signed a contract with them.<\/p>\n

Most of the event organizers either own or work for some of the big media outlets and therefore decided to bring the guy down. Unfortunate some of the people fell for this and some musicians who are benefiting today fight him.<\/p>\n

Anyway, Kwame Nkrumah was overthrown. Jesus was killed\u2026. as for me I like everything Ghana. I love Ghanaians music. I love Sark, I love Stone, I love the new guys Kwame Eugene, Kidi and King Promise but Shatta was is the messiah!!!<\/p>\n
