Actress and entrepreneur, Martha Ankomah has shocked fans with her latest revelation<\/p>\n
that she has never been to a nightclub by herself before.<\/p>\n
According to her, the only time she is seen in a nightclub is when she is on set shooting a movie, and not with friends on a fun day out.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve never been to the nightclub before. The only time I go to the nightclub is when I am acting. My friends know. When they are going ou<\/em>t at night I don\u2019t go.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n She added that it has helped her in so many ways. \u201cit has helped me a save money\u201d.<\/p>\n Martha made this revelation when she appeared as a guest on Hitz Fm\u2019s Damascus Experience hosted by Frankys on Sunday.<\/p>\n She further touched on a couple of personal experiences she has had as a Christian.<\/p>\n Martha Ankomah is known for some wild scenes she has played in movies, most often portraying as a bad girl.<\/p>\n But she has assured its not who she is in real life and has gone ahead to prove it. Martha, unlike some other celebrities is hardly in the news.<\/p>\n Martha, who was asked during the show whether she puts on earrings surprisingly disclosed<\/p>\n that she doesn\u2019t and only put on clips when she is on set for a movie.<\/p>\n She added that it was due to her early days as an Adventist. \u201cI only put on clips when I am acting\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n Known to be a staunch christian, Martha was asked how she became a Christianity.<\/p>\n She explained that growing up, it was a family custom to attend Sunday school before you<\/p>\n are giving food to eat at home and also watch television, and that is what shaped her Christian lifestyle.<\/p>\n On how she became an actress, she said she started acting from a very early age but didn\u2019t exhibit her roles as an actress when she was in senior high school.<\/p>\n It therefore surprised most of her colleagues from SHS when they saw her for the first time in a movie due to her calm nature.<\/p>\n \u201cMost of my friends at Laboni SHS never knew I will be an actress. I didn\u2019t go for entertainment but I was acting from basic school. They were somehow surprised\u201d, <\/em>she said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Touching on a painful experience she has had that she feels took the intervention of God to save<\/p>\n her, the beautiful actress shared her story of how she was electrocuted as a child, but was saved by an elder at church.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a child near a canopy at church and I wanted to go pick her up. Just when I got there, I got stuck. I shouted but nobody believed me. I started crying so people realized it was serious. My mum was called and she didn\u2019t know what to do. \u201cYou will have to go to Sunday school before you eat rice water. For me, becoming a Christian started from childhood. My mum and dad contributed a lot. Growing up till date, I give credit to God and my mum. When I give birth, I\u2019ll train my daughters the same way\u201d.<\/em><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n
