Young rapper, Awal talks about his relationship with Sarkodie. Moreover, he revealed that he is not disappointed that his \u201cgodfather\u201d Sarkodie has not signed him to the Sarkcess Music Label yet.<\/p>\n
He made these statements to Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM. Awal stated:<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think Sarkodie signing me is going to be a big thing. If he signs me it\u2019s good, if not its also fine and others can also sign me.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Also, he added that he wasn\u2019t jealous at all when Sarkodie signed Strongman. However, he was happy for a brother.<\/p>\n
\u201cI felt happy for a brother [Strongman] and that also motivated me to work extra hard. Maybe Sarkodie has seen something in him that he has not seen in me, I only think I have to really work extra hard\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Furthermore, he commented on the rumors that he and Sarkodie were not on good terms. He stated they still have a good relationship.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are still close and have a good relationship. To me, that\u2019s all that matters. I am working on a new song and I have sent him [Sarkodie] the song for him to do a verse for me\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
