{"id":60158,"date":"2019-02-11T08:50:03","date_gmt":"2019-02-11T08:50:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.com\/gh\/?p=60158"},"modified":"2019-02-10T23:25:15","modified_gmt":"2019-02-10T23:25:15","slug":"we-exchanged-phones-for-a-week-annica-on-transparency-with-husband-okyeame-kwame","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/we-exchanged-phones-for-a-week-annica-on-transparency-with-husband-okyeame-kwame\/","title":{"rendered":"We Exchanged Phones For A Week \u2013 Annica On Transparency With Husband Okyeame Kwame"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Annica Nsiah-Apau, wife of Ghana\u2019s &#8216;Rap Doctor&#8217; Okyeame Kwame has revealed how her marriage with her husband had stood the test of trial and gotten to where it is today.<\/p>\n<p>The couple who recently celebrated ten years of marriage have been tagged as the best celebrity couple in Ghana for sometime now.<\/p>\n<p>Delving into her marital journey, Mrs Okyeame said she and her husband have vowed to be<\/p>\n<p>transparent to each other and that seems to have worked for them.<\/p>\n<p>Revealing how it all started, she noted that the journey to being transparent begun with<\/p>\n<p>keeping each other\u2019s phones.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, before they got married, there were a lot of the perceptions and<\/p>\n<p>misconceptions of the rapper that they always addressed.<\/p>\n<h3>Speaking to Joy Fm&#8217;s Daniel Dadzie on the Super Morning Show she explained;<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><em> \u201cwe decided to do a transparency test where he took my phone home for a week and I took his. We didn\u2019t die, nothing happened and decided to be very transparent with each other.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe also told me that he\u2019s been in the relationship business for a while but he was older and knew more than before,\u201d<\/em> she stated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mrs. Nsiah-Apau is the personal, business and brands manager for the award-winning versatile rapper.<\/p>\n<p>Okyeame Kwame on the other hand, sharing his journey with his wife said, he felt Annica was<\/p>\n<p>the one for him and was not ready to do anything or have some ideas about him ruin it.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cShe used because I was a rapper,\u201d <\/em>he stated<em>.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mr OK said, even though he was a young artiste in the music industry who had met lots of girls,<\/p>\n<p>he was ready to settle with his wife because \u201cshe was special.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>READ:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/my-church-loves-my-showbiz-personality-wendy-shay\/\">https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/gh\/my-church-loves-my-showbiz-personality-wendy-shay\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Nsiah-Apau also added that the &#8216;Rap Doctor&#8217; assured her of working towards their relationship;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em> \u201cHe told me if I hear anything about him I was not comfortable with I should speak to him.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Okyeame Kwame and Annica got married in 2009 have two children.<\/p>\n<p>The couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on January 10.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years they have been admired for building and maintaining the relationship they have.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Annica Nsiah-Apau, wife of Ghana\u2019s &#8216;Rap Doctor&#8217; Okyeame Kwame has revealed how her marriage with her husband had stood the test of trial and gotten to where it is today.
