Former president John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama, are part of the newest grandparents at the moment.<\/p>\n

The former president has welcomed his newly-born grandson and he seems so happy about it.<\/p>\n

Taking to his official Instagram handle, JM announced that the boy was born on February 12, 2019.<\/p>\n

He did this by sharing\u00a0 photos of himself and the former first lady with the newly born.<\/p>\n

In one of the photos, the former president could be seen in white sitting besides the baby who was sleeping in a glass court at the hospital.<\/p>\n

“Grand daddy duties. Welcome, Nhyira. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Nana Kofi Gaisie,”<\/em> Mahama captioned the photo on Instagram.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The other photo had the former first lady carrying the baby in her arms as she excitedly gazed at him.<\/p>\n

Looking at the captions for the two beautiful photos, the newly-born baby, given the name Nhyira, was born by one Yaka, a lady Mahama and his wife consider as their daughter.<\/p>\n

Mahama’s post has since gathered a lot of reactions from his supporters with many sending their congratulations while others have already predicted the boy will become a strong member of the NDC in the furture.<\/p>\n

@kyabebs congrautlated the former president on him becoming a granddad: “Grandpa John. Congratulations Sir.n#We know your daughter will have the best grandpa in your generation.”<\/p>\n

@issahbukari also sent a congratulatory message and thanked Allah for the new addition to the Mahama family: “We thank Allah for the new family member. Congratulations.”<\/p>\n

@juliusthevoice brought the political twist to the newborn’s life: “One strong NDC man is welcome to the family.”<\/p>\n
