Multiple award-winning actress, Lydia Forson talks about the National Cathedral. According to her, she is still in shock over the building of the National Cathedral of Ghana.<\/p>\n

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo commissioned the National Cathedral of Ghana. The Cathedral is a planned interdenominational Christian cathedral. It was part of Ghana’s 60th-anniversary celebrations.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the construction attracted criticisms and received backlash from a section of Ghanaians. These people believe the funds for the National Cathedral could be used for something important.<\/p>\n

One person who in disagrees with the National Cathedral is actress Lydia Forson.<\/p>\n

According to her, the funds for the National Cathedral could be invested in healthcare and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Therefore, she took to Twitter to talk about it:<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t get over the fact that we\u2019re building a CATHEDRAL, even if sponsored ( allegedly) there are people who\u2019d rather invest money in a place of worship that people can live WITHOUT than hospital beds and healthcare that people NEED to live.<\/em><\/p>\n
