Renowned and accomplished Ghanaian Playwright, James Ebo Whyte, best known as Uncle Ebo Whyte has opened up on very intricate things about his marriage and inability to produce biological children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Uncle Ebo, who simply defines himself as a storyteller in an interview on Ghanaweb’s ‘People<\/p>\n

and Places’ admitted that despite although\u00a0reports from doctors confirms that nothing was wrong medically with both himself and his spouse, they have, for 35 years been unable to have their very own children.<\/p>\n

He is however unruffled about the situation stating that he sees the best of every situation and<\/p>\n

turns it into a blessing for everyone else around him.<\/p>\n

It is for this reason he decided to impact the lives of some individuals who are at the other side of his experience.<\/p>\n

He has however adopted several children who have for a reason or the other been deprived of having biological parents.<\/p>\n

Being the firm believer of Christ, he has chosen the pathway of faith. As long as there is life,<\/p>\n

Uncle Ebo said, he will, together with his wife, keep hoping for a miracle of a baby.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do not think we have even accepted that we can\u2019t produce children, even now, we\u2019ll keep trying to see if it happens\u201d,<\/em> he stated.<\/h3>\n

\u201cWe went through the usual, we go see specialists, we go do all kinds of test and the <\/em><\/p>\n

report comes, both of you are okay, there\u2019s nothing really, medically wrong with <\/em><\/p>\n

you, then we decide let\u2019s live our lives, let\u2019s not panic over this, let\u2019s not be upset <\/em><\/p>\n

about this, and let\u2019s just have fun, let\u2019s make our childlessness a blessing to us and to other people\u201d<\/em>, he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For Uncle Ebo Whyte, the onus falls on every man to stand as head of the family and defend his<\/p>\n

wife in events where there is childlessness in marriage.<\/p>\n

To \u2018kick\u2019 society off he maintained, one has to protect and speak on behalf of the family and<\/p>\n

defend his wife regardless whose fault it is.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is the one area that destroys marriages, the outside influences come, and they begin to push you. <\/em><\/p>\n

The lesson there is especially the men, stand by your wife, be the one to defend her, don\u2019t leave her to herself and once society gets to know her man is behind her, they\u2019ll back off\u201d,<\/em> he advised.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
