Gospel musician Nicholas Omane Achaempong has some thoughts about the current crop of female gospel stars in the country. According to him, the musicians have started dressing like prostitutes in their music videos and performances.<\/p>\n
According to Omane Acheampong, sharing the word of God should be the mantra of these musicians. However, this mission has changed to something else entirely.<\/p>\n
He made these statements in an interview.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe gospel music is now like a beauty contest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cIf you watch the music videos of most gospel musicians their make-up and other things do not represent what they are preaching. Sorry to say, most of them dress like prostitutes. I am not saying all of them because some of them dress nicely.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cIt appears that the word of God is not valuable to most of them,\u201d he added.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Furthermore, apart from the departure from the word of God, there is no creativity. Nicholas Omane Acheampong said the the songs coming out these days all plagiarized versions of old songs.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot every song is a song. There are certain songs that people will rush to listen.
