Awards-winning dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy\u00a0 is ending 2017 in West Africa, precisely Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, December 30, the ‘My Name’ crooner will be performing live at the Stevens Stadium as part of activities for ‘Collabo’ album concert by Dancehall act Star Zee in Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n
Star Zee was born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone to Patrick Samai (a former vocalist in the Military Dance band.)<\/p>\n
She began her music career at the age of 14. Star Zee\u2019s inputs on \u201cFocus On Africa,\u201d album by a group she was part of, gained her mainstream acclaim.<\/p>\n
She however went solo in 2003.<\/p>\n
Stonebwoy recently released his new album \u2018Epistles of Mama(EOM).\u2018<\/p>\n
EOM consists of 24 tracks – 12 Dancehall\/Reggae song and 12 Afrobeat songs.<\/p>\n
Artistes such as Joey B, Sean Paul, Burna Boy, Sarkodie, Efya, King Promise, Edem featured on the album.<\/p>\n
According to Stonebwoy, \u201cIt\u2019s inspired by the good morals, the teachings, the lessons, the anguish and the smiles of life. All the important things in life which are passed on to us by our mothers.\u201d he explained to Red Bull.<\/p>\n
