However, he refused to disclose the amount involved in the deal when asked. But he indicated that he really made a lot of money from the deal.<\/p>\n
He made these comments in an interview with Showbiz.<\/p>\n
Zylofon Media in 2017 took over the organization of the Ghana Movie Awards. According to reports, they are going to be in charge of it for 10 years.<\/p>\n
\u201c I have sold Ghana Movie Awards to Zylofon Media and I made very good money\u201d, he added.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cYou can say this is a perfect arrangement. Zylofon Media came in at a time when no one was helping the Ghana Movie Awards brand.<\/em><\/p>\n
They announced their presence onto the media landscape in a big way and showed a lot of potentials so I thought it was better to have a \u2018marriage\u2019 with them. You could say we approached each other and the terms were mutually satisfactory.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cZylofon Media is doing very well for themselves in the media space; apart from its management of artists, it also has TV and radio stations and can push the franchise far, so they are a great fit for it.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Furthermore, Fred Nuamah explained why the Awards could not come off in 2017. He said, \u201cThis year it would come off in March for the calendar year of 2017.
