Ghafla Exclusive:Milele FM’s Radio Legend Quits!

After Caroline Mutoko left Kiss F.M for a better position in Radio Africa, yet another legendary top talent has left radio.

Vincent Ateya, one of the most distinguished radio hosts on Kenyan shocked his fans this year after announcing that he  would be leaving his breakfast show to work behind the scenes.His new job was as a  Group Programmes Manager at Milele’s parent organization, Media Max, the Radio section .

He handed over his slot to Waithera a.k.a  Mtoto wa Kike who like Vincent had left Citizen Radio for Milele FM. She has been hosting the show since then alongside Choir Master Mogaka.

Good Old Times:Ateya and Mogaka

His latest move has shocked many as few expected him to resign from the media conglomerate altogether. He handed in his resignation letter last evening. His reason for the unexpected resigning was that he is looking for another challenge.

Ateya has worked for some of Kenya’s biggest radio stations such as KBC, Citizen Radio, Family FM, Radio 360, and Milele FM.
