Gospel Hip Hop Artiste to Star in Film
Talented Gospel rapper Maluda who recently released an album and is working on a mixtape is about to get even busier. The talented hip hop artiste is about to add actor to his resume.
Maluda will play Pastor Solomon in The Devil Goes To Church, a film about a “man of God” who is using the church as a cover for illegal activities. Pastor Solomon embodies the perfect example of dedication to God: he helps the needy, runs a children’s home, gets scholarships for deserving students but things aren’t what they seem. Children from the home start disappearing, women accuse Pastor Solomon of molestation and he becomes linked with a drug trafficking ring. “Will he absolve himself? Or is it true that even the devil goes to church?”
Scripting for The Devil Goes To Church is currently ongoing and shooting begins later this month. Maluda is excited about being in the movie as it is his first attempt at acting. Others expected to star in the film include Ken Mungai, Patrick Matayo, Mercy Naibei and Alex Rashid. The film is being written and will be directed by Sammy Kibagendi and produced by BrilliantCut Studios in conjunction with TerraFirma Pictures.
