GRAPEVINE’S ANYIKO SET TO LEAVE UP NAIROBI FOR GREENER PASTURES

UP/Kenya Concierge staff writer Anyiko Owoko is set to leave the lifestyle magazine for greener pastures soon.

The media personality, who is also the host of KBC’s popular entertainment show, Grapevine, will leave Urban Perspective Nairobi to become the regional record label manager for Penya Africa.

Other artistes signed on to the Penya Africa label are, among others, Sauti Sol, Dela, Elani, Stan and Dempsey as the recording outfit has also set up the Sauti Academy, whose sole purpose is identifying and nurturing local talent.

The label has numerous international networks but now Anyiko and the Kenya director Natalie Lukkanear will be the forces behind new ventures for Penya Africa which is destined for bigger surprises.

This is a huge step up for the young career driven Anyiko and we wish her all the best in her new post.
