‘Hivo Ndio Kunaendanga ’ Hit Maker Swallows His Pride and Apologizes Profusely To Grandpa Records after Their Bitter Fall Out
It was said to be the fall out of the century. A fall out that came about following a series of livid fights about who really owned ‘Hivo Ndio Kunaendanga’ hit song that captured the country by storm.
But 18 months down the line and a media circus, the prodigal son is now seeking forgiveness. This was his apology that was relayed on Social Media:
As the saying goes”truth will always set you free”today i Tom watimah known to public as majirani would like to take this opportunity to apologise to my elders 1: The no. 1 record label in east and central africa”GrandPa Records”, my elder brothers kenrazy and visita for the misunderstanding and mudslinging that took place after the release of the monster hit”hivo ndio kunaendanga”to be honest it was not my intention to drag their good names into mud, I was being used with some individuals who were not happy with GrandPa Records succes, they promised big things in return I tarnish GrandPa Records, kenrazy and visita’s names, being green in the industry a young boy from narok with no exposure, who arrived in nairobi on 15th june 2013, I fell for that.but little did I know they were only to use me and settle scores afterwards they dumped me.i was frustrated for quite sometimes
There came a good number of studios who approached me but I could not work with them because I’ve not seen any record label to match GrandPa Records standards yet,to all my fans I would like to apologise for being quite for 18 months now, it was not intentional.i went through alot for the last 1 year.all in all thanks for believing and standing by me.
