A popular actress has revealed that she always enjoys being ‘stupid, a hooligan and classless’.
Papa Shirandula’s Awinja says that this is one of the roles she has never regretted playing on the popular Citizen TV show.
Awinja is this housegirl who works for the Shirandulas and has a fantastic but sometimes frosty relationship with Wilbroda, another very hilarious character in the show.
Papa Shirandula is one of the oldest shows on Kenyan television and its people like Awinja, Wilbroda and Papa Shirandula himself who make it many people’s favourite show.
Away from the screens, Awinja is a very classy cool girl whom you would want to take out for a date and ‘chipo’ if possible.
But on Papa Shirandula, she is a mere mboch who knows absolutely nothing and her Swahili is badly affected by her luhya accent.
