“I Feel Hurt And Disappointed”, Willy Paul Gushes Out His Sorrow After Sunday’s Embarrassment

Gospel singer Willy Paul has finally decided to free his heart of ill feelings after Sunday’s incident left him engulfed with sorrow.

‘Tam Tam’ hit maker was being choked with desolation after learning about a heartbreaking incident in the US where black Americans decided to treat African artists like cheap used condoms.

For starters, Africans have been whining about BET awarding artists from our dear continent in back stage, away from the audience.

Ghanaian dancehall artist, Stonebwoy and Ugandan singer, Eddy Kenzo, each bagged a prize from Sunday’s BET award gala but only Africans noticed their win.

The two were handed their prize ‘behind the scene’. This has been a common practice in BET, treating African artists with apprehension as if they are infected with a deadly contagious virus, perhaps Ebola.

Upon learning African artists were embarrassed in Los Angeles, Willy Paul’s heart was broken into tiny pieces.

It took the gospel singer two days to be able to talk about the eyesore that was witnessed last Sunday. Below is what he wrote:

hey family hope your all fine… and that the Lord has been faithful to you… today i feel so hurt and dissapointed.. its not fair how AFRICAN artists are being treated at the BET awards… we had one of our own sauti sol.. they were among the nominees for this years BET awards.. we also had wizkid.. aka … fally ipupa and e.t.c… what happend was not good and did not show any love… the winner from ghana was awarded backstage with empty seats which was not fair.. last year the winner was awarded 5 hours before the main show… therefore no one noticed the winner… is this really fair??? i think we should treat each other equally and spread the love everywhere.. that is what is required of us… i hope with time things will change..
