In an interview Avril had with Ghafla! she denounced the unending rumors circulating round that she once dated rapper G-Kon. It was easy for her to say that but G Kon had strong feelings for her, up to now, it appears G Kon hasn’t realized he was being “friend zoned”

In a chit chat with Ghafla! G Kon acknowledged he never dated Avril, he however confirmed he tried hitting on her several times only that his efforts never bore fruits. “Yes she was right, we never dated, i was just trying to vibe her, and when I started putting our photos on social media, that’s when another radio station started saying we are dating, but I was still in the early stages of trying to convince her to be my girl. I like Avril because she is such a cool person, for the few times we have been together, I have learnt that her beauty is not only in her physical body but also in her heart!! Plus her new song is great, I like it, if time could go back a little, I would correct so many stuff just to have her in my arms as my wife” G Kon disclosed.
