K24’s News Anchor Karen Knaust Reacts In Shock As 2 Journalists Are Shot Live On Air

Yesterday the world’s attention shifted from the World Championships after two journalists were shot to death live on air.

Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27 from Virginia, were fatally gunned down and their interviewee Vicki Gardner, head of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce was gravely injured.

It is alleged that the man responsible for these death was a disgruntled former television reporter named Vester Flanagan. The killer then killed himself after this heinous act.

Karen Knaust, a K24 News Anchor had this to say about the tragic incidence:
