Planned Power Interruptions Scheduled for Friday, July 4, 2025

Kenya Power has announced scheduled maintenance that will affect multiple regions across the country on Friday, 4th July 2025, resulting in temporary power outages from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the affected areas.

Below are the detailed locations set to experience power interruptions:

NAIROBI REGION

• Parklands – Wangapala Road Area:
  Customers along Wangapala Road and adjacent neighborhoods will be affected by the scheduled outage.

SOUTH NYANZA REGION

• Migori County – Ntimaru and Taranganya Areas:
  Power will be interrupted in the following areas:

  • Ntimaru Market

  • Taranganya Market and Schools

  • Kobito Village

  • Riamanyangi & Riamanyangi Village

  • Angata Sugar Factory

  • Guitembe Market

  • Senta Market

  • Wangirabose, Masangora, and Nyabikongori

  • All adjacent customers

CENTRAL REGION

• Kiambu County – Thindigua and Fourways Junction:
  The affected areas include:

  • Parts of Thindigua

  • Kigwa Farm

  • Paradise Lost

  • Muhasibu and Kwaheri Road

  • Fourways Junction

  • Bar Next Door, KFC Shell Station

  • Thindigua Police Station and PCEA Thindigua Church

COAST REGION

• Kilifi County – Gede Area:
  Areas expected to experience outages include:

  • Matsangoni

  • Mida Creek

  • Uyomboa

  • Mpenda Kula

  • Gede and surrounding areas
