AI-Generated Image of Guardian Angel Sparks Online Uproar Over Family Remarks

A Facebook post featuring an AI-generated image of gospel musician Guardian Angel with a fictional wife and children has ignited heated reactions online, drawing criticism from fellow celebrities and fans alike.

The image, shared by a user going by Dalmas Official, portrayed Guardian Angel—who is married to Esther Musila—wearing a sharp white suit, black shirt, bowtie, and sunglasses. He is shown with his arm around a woman in a flowing white dress, accompanied by three children: two boys and a girl. Though clearly digitally generated, the photo was accompanied by a caption that stirred controversy.

“No offense, but Guardian Angel deserves to have a family that looks like this. No hard feelings though; you can comment positively or negatively—it’s your mind and your choice,” Dalmas wrote.

Backlash from Celebrities

Comedian Terence Creative was quick to respond, accusing Dalmas of crossing the line out of jealousy.

“We tafuta yako, wacha wivu,” he snapped. (Translation: Look for your own [family], stop being jealous.)

But Dalmas didn’t back down. He clapped back with a pointed reply:

“Kuna tofauti ya wivu na ukweli. Wacha kudanganya mwingine bro. Na wewe umeoa bibi mzuri na uko na watoto. Yeye aliletewa hadi ako na wajukuu—anaitwa grandpa before aitwe dad.”
(There’s a difference between jealousy and truth. Don’t lie to others, bro. You’re married to a beautiful woman and have kids, but he was introduced to a family and now has grandkids—he’s called ‘grandpa’ before even being called ‘dad’.)

Gospel singer Stephen Kasolo also chimed in, seemingly unimpressed by the post.

“Okay, that is alright. Now, where is your family?” he asked, throwing the criticism back at Dalmas.

Mixed Reactions from the Public

The post quickly went viral, with users divided over whether Dalmas was out of line or simply sharing a harmless opinion.

Some social media users defended Dalmas, arguing that he was simply expressing personal thoughts, however controversial. Others, however, labeled the post disrespectful and unnecessary, urging him to stop using people’s private lives—especially family matters—as fodder for online attention.

Critics also noted the insensitivity of publicly critiquing Guardian Angel’s real-life marriage, especially with the clear insinuation that his relationship with Esther Musila is somehow inadequate or unorthodox.

A Bigger Conversation

While AI-generated content continues to blur lines between creativity and intrusion, this incident has reignited discussions about privacy, respect, and boundaries—especially in the digital space where public figures are increasingly targeted for their personal choices.

Whether viewed as satire, cyberbullying, or just a poorly timed opinion, Dalmas’ post has undoubtedly struck a nerve—and Guardian Angel’s silence in the midst of the uproar may speak volumes about choosing dignity over digital drama.
